cricket cake

Our dear customer Eva Linda made this recipe at home and we had to try it, and it was a success! When you need something sweet, adding cricket flour to your batter makes it more nutritious.

about 40 pieces

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons Qvicket
  • 1 dl sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 dl flour
  • 50 g ground hazelnuts

Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy, mix all dry ingredients in a bowl, add them and stir the mixture gently until it gets scrambled. Bake in the oven, in the center, for about 8 minutes (or until done) in 200 degrees. Cut the cake into squares and eat right away or let them dry on a rack overnight to delightfully crispy crusts.
